Working with a local builder as our client we designed a new 4 bedroom house in Northumberland. The design seeks to maximise views of the existing mature trees and to provide a sheltered and secluded courtyard. The ground floor provides generous and flexible family living accommodation with most rooms having the opportunity to open onto the garden. The first floor provides four bedrooms – with the master bedroom benefiting from a private roof terrace.

This design is intended to present a quiet and carefully composed masonry front elevation with a more contemporary and playful rear elevation of timber and zinc cladding which is intended to relate more closely to the landscaping.
